I've gone through several sites, including the one from Microsoft, but my XBox 360 will not recognize my computer. At this point everything is plugged in, but it won't even give me the option to find anything on the computer either. The big problem seems to be finding a connection of any sort, and then even when I do, I still can't get them connected.
I'm going to try that now ( in regards to the first answer ), but also wanted to add that I'm trying to use Windows Media Center to access all this stuff.

I can't use WMP and Center at the same time. I would rather use Center.
My computer now is able to see the 360, but still won't connect to it.

I've basically have put the 360 right into the Ethernet jack on the back of my computer to see if that will work, but so far I'm still not getting it to go through.

-Are both the computer and the xbox connected to the same home network?

-Is the firewall on your computer turned off?

-Try connecting it to WMP first. Turn on your xobx and then open Windows Media Player on your computer. Under "Library" click the little down arrow and then select "Media Sharing". WMP should recognize your xbox at this point if not refresh the connection check your firewall and reboot your xbox.

There really isn't much else that could be wrong unless the problem is really serious.
